Human bones are found at a landfill site, and detective Kassie Kasselman has to take a years-old murder case from the top. Soon the murders are coming thick and fast. Kassie’s attention is spread thin: there’s an attractive new neighbour who has him seeing stars, and a huge stamp collection just landed in his lap. In-between all of this he has to figure out why a mysterious white-collar gang seems to be self-destructing.
Could it be something other than the gang war some colleagues are so sure of? Who could be the turncoat in the gang’s midst, the one with the fiendish bread knife? Every hot tip leads to a cold body, and Kassie and Rooi just can’t get ahead . . .
