When the elderly but irrepressible Hans decides to get married, his future wife’s rich family contracts a famous wedding planner, Alexander Fokkens, to organise everything. But Hans does not want the wedding to become a spectacle. And quickly Fokkens realises that Hans van Kraaienburg will not be bossed around. On top of everything, friend Vasie comes up with a hare-brained scheme to make money out of the reception. And Hans gets the sinking feeling that the wedding is heading for disaster.
