A bloody murder at the Cape Town Waterfront. Which might be related to the mysterious letters lieutenants Bennie Griessel and Vaughn Cupido have been receiving. But first the two disgraced cops need to solve the disappearance of a Stellenbosch student, and go in pursuit of an estate agent who was involved in the sale of Donkerdrif, the wine farm belonging to corporate swindler Jasper Boonstra. Before long Bennie and Vaughn realise that all their investigations have a common thread: pure greed.
